Equity Investing
By
Simon Brewer
Equity investing is the practice of buying shares of companies, which are called equities or stocks, to become a part-owner of those businesses.
When you invest in equities, you can earn money in two main ways: through dividends, which are portions of the company's profits paid to shareholders, and through capital gains, which occur when the price of the stock goes up and you sell it for more than you paid.
Learn more about it, as well as the risks and rewards of it from the below conversations!
